Adult General Admission $39, Under Age 12 General Admission $10, Assistant (general admission plus backstage access): $55 (only applicable to those helping a competitor prepare back stage). One assistant max per competitor is permitted. Tickets are good for both portions of the event. There are not separate tickets for one portion or the other. Tickets will be available for purchase online until Friday 5/4. After then they will only be available for purchase at the door the day of the contest.

Entry Fees & Deadlines
If entry is received by April 15th: Entry $150. After April 15th an additional late entry fee of $50 applies. Monday April 30th is the last day entries will be accepted.
Pro Open Men's Physique and Pro Open Women's Physique
Cash Prizes for all pro classes will be $1,000 for 1st place, $600 for 2nd place, and $400 for 3rd place. The top 5 in each pro class will receive trophies. All pro participants will receive custom OCB Pro medals.
Competitors must meet one of the eligibility criteria listed in the Pro Guidelines on OCBonline.com. In addition, all competitors are required to hold current OCB Pro memberships to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual Pro membership, please register by a week before the event. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com.
This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines in order to participate. Prior to registering competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com.
Drug Screening Methods
All competitors are required to be polygraph tested prior to competing. In addition, the top 3 in pro classes are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis.
By appointment Thursday May 3rd from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM and Friday May 4th from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the host hotel, Holiday Inn Express, 201 East Cary Street, Richmond, VA 23219. Schedule an appointment for Thursday or Schedule an appointment for Friday. The polygraph fee is $50 and is payable at the time of scheduling an appointment. Please try to schedule your polygraph appointment so it's before your spray tanning appointment if doing both the same day. Polygraph test results are valid for other amateur OCB shows that are held within 6 weeks. View the upcoming schedule of events.
All competitors for every category are to send their routine/stage walk music mp3 or m4a file as an email attachment to email@example.com. Music must not to contain any profanity. If music is not received for any competitors by 4:00 PM the Tuesday before the show, house music will be used for them the day of the event. If your song is on a retail CD, search the Internet on how to "rip music from a CD" if you don't know how to. If needed, mp3 files of songs can be purchased from Amazon.com for around $1, downloaded, and then emailed to us as a file attachment. All music must be sent as a digital file. Competitors can send complete songs if they wish, the music would just be faded out after the stage walk is finished. For Women's Physique, state whether the music should start after you get set on stage, or before you come out, when sending music.

To reserve call (804) 788-1600 and mention group code 'OCB' for a rate of $119/night for single and double rooms, or $129/night for suites. It's recommended to reserve by April 3rd. Group rate offered will be dependent on availability after then.
A roster with assigned competitor numbers and class breakdowns will be emailed to competitors the Wednesday or Thursday before the show.
One assistant max per competitor is allowed backstage. The assistant must buy a trainer/assistant ticket, which is good for general admission and back stage access.
Competitor Prep Area
Light weights, bands and mirrors will be backstage for use in preparing to go on stage. Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment and mirrors as well.
There won’t be a contestant briefing the day of the show. All information that would generally be provided at one is listed on this page, so please read everything carefully.
Video Recording Policy

Stage Photography Coverage
The photo order form lays out the details for stage photo coverage. Those who preorder have a lot more photos taken of them. To order, competitors should print and hand in a completed form at check-ins/polygraph.

Additional General Show Information
Competitors must be fully covered whenever in the theatre seating area. Exposed body area that can allow tanning agent to stain seating cloth is to be avoided.
Food or drink is not permitted in the theatre. Keep coolers, etc. in backstage prep area.
Please show respect for the venue and promoters by taking care to keep on paper/plastic protected areas for tanning, oiling, and pumping up. Do not stray beyond protected areas.
Alcohol is not permitted on the premises.
Competitors will have two number buttons - one to be worn front left, other rear center, to help judges keep track of individuals during scoring.
If the head judge calls your number asking you to switch places on stage with another competitor during group comparisons, raise your hands so each person knows where they need to go.
Be sure to review the guidelines on OCBonline.com for your category prior to the event and view the poses that will be called during group comparisons, as well a description of the path that is to be followed for the stage walks.
Competitors must show their competitor number buttons to event staff in order to gain access to the back stage and auditorium areas.
There will be expediters back stage who will be advising competitors when they should be getting ready and when they should be getting lined up to go out on stage.
For group comparisons, competitors will line up near the front of the stage where a line of tape will be.
There will be large X’s on the stage to mark where pausing points should be for stage walks. There will be one on rear stage center, one on front stage left, one on front stage center, and one on front stage right. These marks are positioned to be where the best lighting is. Tip: When doing walks face inward toward the middle of the audience at the side X’s so the crowd and photographer gets a better view of your physique.
The facility will be accessible any time after 8:30 AM the day of the show. It's recommended competitors arrive no later than 30 minutes before the show's start time to allow enough time to get familiarized with the building layout and be ready before the start time.
There will be flyers for other area OCB shows at check-ins and in the lobby the day of the show. If you are able to take copies and post those at the gym you go to it would be greatly appreciated.
Polygraph testing and check-in tasks will both be done at the appointment time you scheduled. The check-in tasks will consist of distributing competitor number buttons and any advance tickets purchased, and turning in photo order forms (if applicable) and competitor introduction forms. The intro form should be downloaded, printed, and brought completed to check-ins.
For awards presentations there will be numbers 1 through 5 taped to the stage floor. They represent placements. When a competitor is announced as winning “X” place, they should move to where that number is on the floor to receive their trophy. Trophies should be placed on the floor in front of competitors so they are not being held when a photo-op group pose is requested after all placements have been awarded for the class.
